Our Sustainable Packaging Promise

The Climate & Ecological Crisis is the responsibility of all of us. It is important to us that our business operates with the lowest possible impact to the environment. We continue to make improvements at our ecommerce/fulfilment warehouse to ensure we operate in as responsible and sustainable way as possible, whilst still ensuring safe delivery of our customers’ orders. Changes made over the last 12 months include:

• Goods are now bagged using 100% oxo-biodegradable plastic.
• Shipping bags are both reusable and 100% compostable.
• Plastic packing tape has been replaced with recyclable paper tape.
• Polystyrene packaging has been replaced with recycled carboard.
• Plastic bubble wrap has been replaced with recycled and recyclable paper and cardboard.
• All cardboard protective packaging is now recycled and recyclable.
• Padded envelopes are now 100% recyclable and contain no plastic.
• Storage boxes now lightweight yet strong recycled reusable plastic.

But we are not 100% there yet.

We are negotiating with our landlords to move our electricity supply to renewable energy only, not carbon neutral through offsetting.

We are investigating packaging solutions for posters and art prints that don’t include plastic end caps.
